My name is Jessica Robinson and I created Nurture Nursing to support breastfeeding mothers nationwide. Following the birth of both my children, I was provided ample time to establish breastfeeding but I realize not every woman is not as lucky.
Our intent here at Nurture Nursing is to increase breastfeeding rates across the nation by supporting the implementation of a nationwide paid family leave program. Statistics show that states that have implemented a paid family leave program have higher rates of breastfeeding vs those states that do not. We support paid family leave to allow every new parent the opportunity to nurture nursing to promote the health of themselves and their newborn.
